Get to know me
Welcome!
I’m a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in the Bay Area, dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward mental wellness. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in treating adults who struggle with anxiety, stress, and mood issues. My approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the ways anxiety can impact various aspects of life, including relationships, work, and overall well-being.
Professional Experience
I have had the privilege of working with adults from diverse backgrounds across various settings. My career has spanned roles in hospitals, addiction treatment facilities, and the criminal justice system, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient settings. This breadth of experience, including supervising and training emerging therapists, has equipped me with a robust skill set that I bring to my private practice.
Therapeutic Approach
In therapy, I use a warm, collaborative approach that focuses on your strengths. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to tailor our work to your unique needs.
Outside of Work
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, biking, hiking, crafting, and practicing yoga. I also find joy in mentoring and supporting therapy trainees.
