Specialty
Trauma therapy that goes to the root, not just the symptoms.
Trauma isn’t only what happened to you — it’s what your nervous system decided to do about it. Hypervigilance, shutdown, people-pleasing, perfectionism: these often started as ways to stay safe. Trauma therapy helps your body learn the danger has passed.
What trauma can look like
- Feeling on edge or easily startled, even in safe situations
- Emotional numbness or feeling disconnected from your own body
- Flashbacks, intrusive memories, or avoidance of certain people, places, or topics
- Difficulty trusting others or letting people get close
- A pattern of relationships or situations that echo earlier harm
How I can help
I integrate EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to work directly with the parts of you still carrying what happened, at a pace your system can tolerate. This isn’t about retelling your story in detail — it’s about helping your nervous system finally file the experience as over.
